Town visiting in Oaxaca - Handicraft Tour begins with a visit to the home of a family of artisans where they make fantastic carved wooden figures known as "Alebrijes". Here you will learn about the entire process of making these figures. Then we will walk through the streets and learn a little more about the local culture.

Then we'll visit Coyotepec, a town of artisans where clay is used to shape unique pieces known as barro negro (black clay). You will learn everything about the handicraft making process! We will also make a stop to enjoy a typical Oaxacan food known as "Tlayuda" and flavored water.

Then we will visit the house of a family of artisans in Teotitlan del Valle, a place where wool rugs are made and naturally dyed. We will end with a stop to see the ancient Tule tree, (it is not allowed to enter the atrium of the church).
