  • Overview

Stand at the base of the Christ the Redeemer statue and look out over the city of Rio de Janeiro. The Corcovado and Floresta de Tijuca Tour takes you to this incredible structure, which was constructed in 1931 at more than 2,200 feet above sea level.

The excursion begins with a train ride from the Cosme Velho neighborhood to the Tiuca Forest. The largest urban forest in the world, this natural attraction overlooks Guanabara Bay, Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and local beaches.

After visiting the statue, the Corcovado and Floresta de Tijuca Tour finishes up at the beautiful Pepino Beach in Sao Conrado before heading back to Rio de Janeiro.
