The City and Park Tour takes you to explore the heart of Mendoza and the General San Martin Park. You will visit the city's foundation area and the ruins of San Francisco church, where the city of Mendoza was first settled and then destroyed 300 years later by a earthquake. You will also visit the Ciudad Nueva area (where you can see the Plaza Independencia square and adjoining squares), the Civic Center and the Flag of the Army of the Andes Memorial.

Then you will visit the General San Martin Park, designed in 1896 by architect Carlos Thays. With over 300 species from North America, Asia, Europe and Australia, it is a lush universe full of trails specially built to make your journey more enjoyable. Measuring in almost 1000 acres, it is one of the most important urban green spaces in Argentina, both due to its size and its proximity to the city.

Admire its emblematic gates, the Marly Horses (a replica of those located at Place de la Concorde in Paris) and the fountain of the continents (inspired by the sculpture located in Luxembourg). You will also be able to see a huge artificial lake used for regattas, the Malvinas Argentinas stadium (host of the 1978 FIFA world cup) and the Cerro de la Gloria, hill where the majestic and well-known Monument to the Army of the Andes is located.
