Puerto Iguazu, Argentina
Nightlife in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina: Nightclubs, Bars & More
Although Puerto Iguazu is a little town, there are a few bars and nightclubs to hang out at in the evening. Ciudad del Este (Paraguay) and Foz do Iguazu (Brazil), the neighboring cities, also have to be considered when you are planning your night out. These three cities all complement each others nightlife scene resulting in a wide variety of places to party.
You can easily hop from one city to another during the course of an evening, visiting the casinos, bars, nightclubs and shows. If you are a citizen of any of these countries, then a driving license is enough to get you 72 hours permission to any one of the other countries. If you are from anywhere else, then you'll need your passport and maybe a visa as well.
Cuba Libre Megadisco
This is the most popular nightclub in Puerto Iguazu, where the party begins after midnight and gets better as the night goes on. Open for many years, this is the biggest "boliche" (nightclub) in the city and it definitely has the best atmosphere in town.
Iguazu Grand Hotel Casino and Resort
If you love gambling then this is the place to go. However, if you don't want to gamble then you can still enjoy a few drinks at the two bars and soak up the atmosphere. The Iguazu Grand Hotel Casino and Resort has been open for more than 15 years and it is considered as one of the best casinos in South America. In fact, they built the hotel because of the casino's popularity. Here you will find slot machines, video games, blackjack, poker, roulette and much more! There are also VIP and tournament rooms for the high rollers.
Located in the center of this lovely city, this cozy bar serves delicious food and beverages. The service is excellent, the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere can only be described as contagious. Be sure to stop by next time you are in the beautiful city of Iguazu.
Visit the Waterfalls at Night
One of the most beautiful things to do in Puerto Iguazu during the evening is a guided moonlit tour of the waterfalls. This memorable experience is definitely something you won't want to miss out on. A guide will lead you down the jungle paths to the viewpoint, where you'll be able to watch the stunning waterfalls illuminated by the moon.
The moonlight dancing off the waterfall is most certainly an incredible sight to see. In order to preserve the ecosystem of this paradise on earth, there is no artificial lighting during the night. The availability of this tour depends on the particular night and it is subject to change without prior notice.
