Manzanillo offers the opportunity to shop for beautiful crafts at excellent prices. You’ll find everything from the traditional “tianguis” (open-air market) to beachwear boutiques, silver jewelry, and a wide variety of souvenirs.
Downtown and the Beaches
In the downtown area, the main square, and all along Mexico Avenue you’ll find a variety of clothing, accessory, and souvenir shops. On the beaches you’ll also find businesses specializing in the sale of sports equipment, like surfboards and snorkeling and scuba diving equipment. There are also tourist markets on the beaches at Salagua, Santiago, and Miramar, as well as authentic craft markets, and antique shops selling jewelry and handmade clothing. In particular, the Miramar Beach Tianguis is an open-air market packed with stalls selling traditional crafts from the state of Colima.
This is the most popular shopping mall in Manzanillo, with clothing and craft shops, as well as a well-known store selling fine silver jewelry. It also has boutiques, a variety of restaurants for all tastes and budgets, and a popular supermarket.
Palacio de Conchas y Caracoles
This shop is located on Miguel de la Madrid Boulevard near the Santiago Gardens. It also serves as a shop-museum where beautiful local items from the sea, as well as other parts of the world, are displayed and sold. with stalls selling traditional crafts from the state of Colima.
