Foz do Iguazu has a few interesting places to go shopping. In fact, although it is a small city, you'll find lots of stores on the main avenues, along with a few shopping malls as well. Foz do Iguazu borders Ciudad del Este (Paraguay) and Puerto Iguazu (Argentina), which is why the currencies of these three countries are accepted in each of these cities. It is also worth knowing that Puerto Iguazu has one of the best duty free shopping malls in the South America.
Cataratas JL Shopping
This is possibly the best shopping mall in Foz do Iguazu. Built in 2007 and located close to the center of the city, this huge mall is designed for the more affluent clientele of these three cities. It has three pathways featuring over 140 stores, twenty restaurants, a four-screen movie theater, a parking lot and even a gym. All kinds of services, such as ATM machines, wireless internet and currency exchanges are available inside this huge shopping mall.
This is the city's main avenue and there are lots of great stores located here. You can find clothing, toys, and souvenirs, along with electronics and a whole lot more. Avenida Brasil has everything you need for a great day of shopping in Iguazu.
At Iguassu Boulevard you'll find lots of stores, boutiques and restaurants, along with a modern ten lane bowling alley. If you are traveling with children, then stop by the "Baby Park", which is an area designated just for kids. Inside the shopping mall there is a video arcade, a movie theater, and a large food court with a great selection of eateries.
Feira do Iguazu
This street market is a great place to go if you want to purchase a souvenir or two of your visit to Iguazu. There's also a whole host of other products available here, including electronics and clothing. You should definitely pay a visit to Feira do Iguazu if you are in the market for some low cost merchandise.
Cataratas Bowling Center
This popular entertainment complex in Foz do Iguazu has lots of things for the whole family to enjoy, including bowling lanes, video games, and fast food restaurants. You'll also be able to find a variety of stores, both inside and outside of the complex, selling souvenirs, clothing, footwear and a whole lot more.
