Highway Travel with BestDay

I love traveling by bus. I really like having some time to work on my projects, read that book I put aside ages ago, or just to relax. I love the other perks of bus travel, such as saving on gas and highway tolls, as well as avoiding the hassle of driving. I arrive at my destination rested and relaxed after a soothing nap, or a good book.

A few days ago I went on to the BestDay Mexico website and I noticed that there was a new option on the main menu of the homepage. In addition to being able to book hotels, travel packages, tours, and flights, the site now offers people the chance to get their bus tickets at excellent rates. There are even special discounts for teachers and students (during school holidays), as well as for disabled people or for senior citizens.

On closer inspection of the bus ticket booking engine, I realized that under the options for the departure and return dates, there were some advanced options. This drop-down menu allows you to choose a specific bus company, the time of day you want to travel (morning, afternoon, or evening), and whether you want to travel direct or not. There are more than 25 of the most prestigious bus companies in Mexico available, including ETN, Primera Plus, Transpais, Tufesa, and Turistar.

The best thing though, is that once you've chosen your return trip bus tickets, you can complement them with a hotel reservation for your stay in your destination. If you book the bus and hotel option, you can get packages with savings of up to 40%! You can select your seat for the outbound and return journeys during the process, and you can also see the services available on each bus.

Now, whenever I want to travel by the highway to the main cities of Mexico, like Mexico City, Guadalajara, Guanajuato, Monterrey, Morelia, San Miguel de Allende, Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta, I know that I have the most trustworthy travel agency in Mexico close at hand. When I say "close at hand", I also mean it in a literal sense, as you can book your tickets from a PC, tablet, or smartphone. The great thing is that I can do all this without waiting in line at a terminal or risking that there is no availability left on the day!
