This tour takes about 10 hours starting at 9:00 a.m. You’ll be visiting Xalapa, the lovely capital of the state of Veracruz, located 65.87 miles from the Port of Veracruz, in the central part of the state. In Xalapa, you´ll see Hacienda de Lencero, the old estate and plantation house belonging to Antonio de Santa Ana. Visiting the hacienda is like traveling back in time to a period in Mexican history that seems to be farther away than it actually is. Here you’ll see personal objects and furnishings belonging to Santa Ana,a notorious character in Mexican history.

After that, you’ll see the most interesting attractions of the capital in a sightseeing tour. You’ll see the City Council, the Cathedral of Monsenor Guizar and Valencia, the campus of the University, Paseo de los Lagos, (a boulevard) and el Callejon del Diamante, (Diamond Alley), and if you still feel up to it, the Museum of Anthropology, the second most important museum of its kind in the country.

Your next stop is Xico, a magical place of ancient traditions and legends surrounded by green foothills and mountains standing at 9,186.35 feet above sea level.

The tour continues through splendid coffee plantations on the way to the Texolo Falls, a place of exuberant natural beauty. Then, you’ll arrive in Coatepec, appointed one of Mexico’s Magic Towns and well known for its exceptional mountain grown coffee, grown 4,101.05 ft above sea level.
