Departing from:

Your journey begins with a visit to the legendary tree known as Tule, which is a giant cypress with a diameter of 45 feet. This tree, with its enormous trunk, has the record of being the widest in the world. The colossal cypress is approximately 2,000 years old and is the object of many legends.

After visiting Tule you will be taken to the archaeological site of Mitla. This city was where the indigenous culture, known as Zapoteca, used to live. The name Mitla means ''City of the Dead''. This archaeological complex consists of stunning pre-Columbian Mesoamerican buildings. The buildings are ornate with a system of geometric designs, which makes Mitla different from other archaeological places in Mexico.

Your next stop will be Teotitlan del Valle, a town founded by the indigenous Zapotec tribe. This place is renowned for its traditional wool textiles, made skillfully by the locals. Here you can watch the people making the products and even purchase the beautiful results.

The climax of your journey will be at Monte Alban archaeological site, built on a low mountain range. At the site, you will discover antique tombs, the observatory and a court made for playing a pre-Hispanic ball game. Monte Alban is more than just the remains of ancestral cultures, it is a place where past and present energies meet. This experience will give you an insight into mystical Mexico, which is still hidden between the stones.
