Mexico City is a dynamic, cosmopolitan metropolis and the most ancient in the Americas. Our trip starts with a stroll around the Historic Center where the first stop is the famous Zocalo, surrounded by important buildings such as the National Palace, home to several Diego Rivera murals. Then, we’ll visit the “Templo Mayor”, an archaeological site located in the heart of the city where you can explore vestiges of an Aztec temple and admire pieces found at the site.
We’ll also visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, a great opportunity to learn about its spectacular baroque and neoclassic style that it is considered the most relevant religious construction in Latin America.
Later, travel down the Paseo de la Reforma, an elegant boulevard where you can admire beautiful monuments such as the Angel of Independence, a number of deluxe hotels, embassies and colonial style mansions. You can take photographs at Chapultepec Park as well as shop at the Santa Fe Shopping Mall. Visit the most popular and stunning museum in the city, the National Museum of Anthropology and explore the Mexica Room.
