This four hour tour takes you to the picturesque and traditional sites in Acapulco. The City Tour starts at Costera Miguel Aleman, the street that is most frequented by tourists. From there you’ll visit the Capilla de la Paz (Chapel of Peace), which is located at the highest part of the bay of Acapulco, a popular attraction due to the presence of a 135 foot high cross with a touching history. You’ll also discover the downtown area, the traditional Flamingo hotel and the Caleta area. From there, you will head to either La Quebrada or the Fort of San Diego.

If you choose La Quebrada, you’ll have the opportunity to see the most famous spectacle in Acapulco as divers jump from a 145 foot cliff into a small Pacific Ocean inlet. These intrepid divers must synchronize their jump with the waves to ensure that there will be enough water at the time of the jump. This is an art that you have to see!

The visit to the Fort San Diego museum is a great option for those who wish to learn about history and culture. In the past, this was the most important Spanish fortress in the Pacific. Built in 1617 to protect the city from pirates, it was also the port for the famous ship La Nao de China.
