Plaza Los Portales

The oldest market and shopping center in Toluca, spanning a whole city block, features huge colonial archways, hence its name Plaza Los Portales. Located in the historic downtown district of the city and dating back to 1832, the plaza features a total of 118 adjoining arches, making it the longest colonial structure of its kind in the country.
