El Chiringuito Photos

This casual open air oceanside grill offers a variety of fresh seafood, chicken and meats grilled to perfection on a wood fire using the native hardwood, "zapote". Guests may also enjoy "Chilpachole" - a traditional light Mexican seafood stew served in a clay pot - or one of the fresh pizzas baked in the outdoor wood fired oven. Situated on the beach with a cool ocean breeze blowing through, this is the perfect setting for a relaxed outdoor meal.

Kaax Photos

As you enter Kaax, whose name in Maya means "jungle", the first thing you notice are the handpainted murals depicting the flora and fauna of the region that surrounds you. Our chef has drawn on the traditions of the region by staying true to the original recipes, adding his own modern touches and presentations.
