The nighttime always promises to be an alluring adventure in Palenque. On any night out there are usually people from France, Colombia and Italy mingling with the locals. There is always something to see or some good music to be heard, including traditional Mexican music, ballads, South American folk songs, Cuban music, percussion sets, and fire shows. It is also common to see foreign entertainers perform their countries traditional music, and undisputedly Don Mucho's is the best place for a fun filled evening out in Palanque.
Yara's Cafe
Yara's is a small cafe with a cozy atmosphere, great for a drink, some good conversation and delicious food. They also feature theme nights throughout the week with Thursdays being Cuban Trova Night and Fridays and Saturdays are Ballad Nights and the perfect setting for a romantic evening out.
