The main streets of the downtown area are closed to cars and pedestrians take over the streets, walking among stands selling handicrafts, hammocks, clothes, shoes and an endless variety of fun things to buy.

Las Americas Mall has the best boutiques, shoe stores, electronics shops and department stores, all under the same roof. There is a food court with excellent dining choices and you will also find a 10 screen movie theater showing the latest films. Bring your family and have a fun afternoon. La Gran Plaza
Located in the north of the city, La Gran Plaza is a modern mall with a large variety of stores and the best clothing and shoe brands. There are also bookstores, photo stores, sport shops, electronics stores, auto shops, music stores, pet shops and many others. This mall also features a fast-food area, an arcade and a multi-screen movie theater.
