Hacienda Santa Cruz is a 17th century estate that has been restored and turned into a beautiful hotel. It covers an area of 17.30 acres consisting of several buildings, extensive gardens with large trees, a chapel, as well as the remains of old buildings. It is surrounded by thick stone walls that separate it from a charming rural community.
The hotel features elegant guestrooms and suites that preserve their original architecture, revealing their rich historic past. All the guestrooms are decorated with classical styled wrought ironwork and tropical hardwood furnishings. Modern amenities contribute to a restful stay, where the only sounds you will hear are those of the birds singing.
The hacienda is located 20 minutes from the historic downtown district of Merida in the Yucatan Peninsula, near important cities of Mayan culture, Chichen Itza and Uxmal.
The hotel offers spacious facilities housed in three main areas: the main machinery room featuring the restaurant and terrace, one of the pools, the bar and an ample courtyard with a lovely fountain in the middle; the chapel, which is used for business meetings, conferences and conventions; and the main house, with comfortable and spacious guestrooms.

The hotel features 9 elegant guestrooms and suites, located in the main house of the hacienda. They have charming 17th century architecture consisting of vaulted ceilings and 6-foot thick walls, as well as huge stone slab-corridors, with tall arches that open onto the rooms, so tall that people used to bring their horses through them.
The hotel features a French-Creole restaurant located in the center of a room that originally was the old main machinery room of the hacienda, offering two different settings, one indoors for non-smokers and an open-air terrace for those who wish to smoke.
