Casa IxChel is a small hotel featuring ten suites, each with a theme, such as "Serenity' or 'Abundance'. Most suites feature full relaxing tubs; small kitchens with refrigerators, range tops, blenders, tea and coffee pots, and of course, cooking and dining utensils are available in all the suites but one. Linens are 100% cotton, laundered and sun-dried; a delightfully comforting experience.
The hotel also features two large terraces, one in the lobby and one on the roof. On either terrace it is possible to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. If you can't decide whether to relax in the sun or the shade, there is a giant pergola available for the best of both worlds.

With wonderful views of the Caribbean Sea, the terrace and the large palapa are also excellent places to simply relax and unwind. Massage and energy work is available, as well as Mayan healing baths and a unique "chakra pool". There is also an incredibly relaxing steam bath.
If you are looking for an 'away from it all' vacation in the Mexican Caribbean, surrounded by the beauty of the sea, sun, moon and stars, you can do no better.

The hotel does not have a full service restaurant, it does however have a lovely open air area where you can enjoy an exquisite breakfast, with the stunning Caribbean Sea as the backdrop. |

The hotel is located beside the Caribbean Sea on Isla Mujeres, just five minutes away from the ferry dock. Yoga classes are available at the first yoga center on Isla Mujeres, only 5 minutes by bicycle from the hotel.
The ferry runs every half an hour and the trip last about 15 min. A ferry for cars also runs several times during the day. If you enjoy snorkeling or diving then you'll have the chance to explore the second largest barrier reef in the world while staying here. |
